1. Overview

NYOM Analysis ("we", "our", "the service") is an Amazon UK profit analysis tool for sellers. This policy covers both the web application at this domain and the NYOM Analysis browser extension for Chrome and Edge.

2. Data We Collect

• Account information — email address and password (hashed) used to create and access your account.
• API key — a personal token generated for you to authenticate browser extension requests. Stored securely on our server and locally in your browser.
• Search history — ASINs and product titles you have looked up, stored to power your History page. Visible only to you.
• Subscription status — whether your account is active or inactive, used to control access to the service.

3. Browser Extension

The NYOM Analysis browser extension:

• Reads the product title from the web page you are currently viewing solely to pre-fill the search field. This data is not stored or logged.
• Sends the product title or ASIN to the NYOM Analysis server to retrieve Amazon pricing and profit data on your behalf.
• Stores your API key and server URL locally in chrome.storage.sync to authenticate your requests.
• Does not track your browsing history, collect personal information, or monitor any activity beyond what is needed to perform a product lookup.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the profit analysis service you requested.
• To authenticate your account and extension requests.
• To display your search history within your account.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party for any purpose.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the Keepa API to retrieve Amazon product data. ASINs you search for are sent to Keepa as part of this process. Please refer to Keepa's privacy policy for details.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. API keys are randomly generated tokens. All communication between the extension and our server uses HTTPS.
